About the Role
Emirates is seeking an Engine Overhaul Engineer to supervise and mentor technicians in the assembly, disassembly, and repair of aircraft engines at their Engine Maintenance Centre in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Senior Technicians, Technicians and Mechanics to carry out Assembly, Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection, Repairs, refurbishment, modifications, testing and rectification on all types of aircraft engines
- Hold approval to certify own tasks and those under supervision; certify and release to service work in accordance with Airworthiness requirements and OEM recommendations
- Complete own and supervised tasks accurately using knowledge of engine overhaul process, company procedures, ESM, IPC, CMM, SB’s and AD’s
- Apply knowledge of tooling and equipment to carry out tasks safely and to highest quality standards
- Participate and promote a safe working environment; report non conformance in safety and quality
- Ensure own attendance and direct reports align with sectional shift pattern; participate in meetings and projects
- Assist direct reports with development of competencies; mentor technicians and mechanics
- Staff annual business contribution evaluation (MyBC) set staff goals and competencies through quarterly and annual performance reviews
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering fields: Aeronautical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, Electronics or Tech Engineering, or Valid Maintenance Engineering Licence, or Apprenticeship of at least 2 years
- Holder of Engine shop authorisations
- Work experience of 7+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft / Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company
- Ability to delegate tasks and lead a team
- Competent with Reviewing/Understanding/Actioning Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs)
- Experienced in Engine Assembly & Disassembly, Module Assembly & Disassembly, NDT, Inspection, and Repair

Job Purpose
- Join our Engine Maintenance Centre, a cutting edge MRO facility for Emirates’ fleets.
- As an Engine Overhaul Engineer, supervise and mentor technicians in assembly, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repairs, and testing of aircraft engines.

In This Role, You Will
- Supervise activities of direct reports; provide mentoring and guidance.
- Complete own and supervised tasks accurately using ESM, IPC, CMM, SB’s and AD’s.
