About the Role
RAYNE is seeking experienced energy lawyers to join their consultant team, embedded within client organizations as in-house legal support. The role involves advising on upstream/downstream oil and gas, renewable energy, project documents, and regulatory matters across GCC.

Responsibilities
- Advise on upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas transactions and projects
- Support renewable energy, clean energy, and infrastructure mandates across the region
- Draft and negotiate project documents, joint venture agreements, and energy contracts
- Advise on regulatory, licensing, and compliance matters across GCC jurisdictions
- Work alongside client leadership, technical teams, and government stakeholders
- Support project finance, concession arrangements, and cross border energy deals
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE in energy, projects, or natural resources
- Experience across private practice and in house, ideally with GCC exposure
- Strong familiarity with project development, joint ventures, or energy regulation
- Experience with ADNOC, DEWA, or other regional energy players is a distinct advantage
- Commercially minded, pragmatic, and comfortable in complex multi stakeholder environments
- Fluency in English essential; Arabic highly advantageous

- Consultants embedded directly within client organisations as extension of in house legal teams
- Secondments vary in length, sector, and legal discipline
What you'll be doing
- Advising on upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas transactions and projects
- Supporting renewable energy, clean energy, and infrastructure mandates across the region
- Drafting and negotiating project documents, joint venture agreements, and energy contracts
- Advising on regulatory, licensing, and compliance matters across GCC jurisdictions
- Working alongside client leadership, technical teams, and government stakeholders
- Supporting project finance, concession arrangements, and cross border energy deals
What we're looking for
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE in energy, projects, or natural resources
