Role Overview
The Employee Relations Manager will promote positive workplace relationships, employee engagement, and a fair and consistent working environment.
The role works closely with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders to address concerns and support a healthy organizational culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies.
- Advise on workplace matters and support conflict resolution.
- Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently.
- Manage employee concerns and grievances.
- Support disciplinary and performance-related processes.
- Review workplace policies.
- Identify employee relations trends and recommend practical solutions to improve engagement and workplace effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Employment Relations, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of employee relations principles, HR policies, workplace practices, and employment regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build trust and effective relationships with employees and management.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS or employee management systems.
- Fair, empathetic, objective, proactive, and highly ethical approach.
