Role Overview
- Our client is a global leader in cybersecurity SaaS solutions looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support outbound sales teams through strategic prospecting and extensive account research.
- This role is part of the company's Emiratisation initiative.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities
- Nurture early stage opportunities through the sales funnel
- Conduct outbound cold calling across existing customers and break into net new logos within your assigned territories
- Identify key decision makers within target account
- Create an exceptional first impression for prospects and customers
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow up communication
- Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities
- Log and manage prospect information in Salesforce CRM
- Build product knowledge through regular training sessions
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to help optimise revenue
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer driven role
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with creative, out of the box thinking
- Experience in account planning, prospecting, and cold calling across a mix of net new and existing accounts
- Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent year over year quota attainment
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the sales teams you support
- Ability to multi task, prioritise workload, and maximise efficiency
- Active listening skills to understand and respond to prospect needs
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- High energy, positive attitude, and ability to take initiative
- Solid phone, prospecting, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine desire to build a career in technology sales
