Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical maintenance activities during the plant outage
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and site procedures specific to nuclear facilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee electrical work including inspection, testing, repair, and replacement of electrical equipment and systems
- Monitor work performance, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
- Coordinate with site engineers, planners, QA/QC, safety personnel, and client representatives
- Conduct toolbox talks, job safety analysis (JSA), and ensure compliance with plant safety procedures
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex electrical issues
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Ensure that all electrical tools and equipment are tested and certified as per plant requirements
- Support commissioning and start up activities post outage, if required
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of total experience in electrical maintenance or supervision
- Minimum 1 year of direct experience in a nuclear power plant is mandatory
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, and protection systems
- Familiarity with nuclear safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FANR, WANO, IAEA)
- Proven experience managing teams in a high risk, regulated environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in compliance with strict outage schedules

Overview
- Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to support outage maintenance activities at a Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi.
