Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations
- Ensure materials are ordered in line with project specifications, budget, and schedule
- Review technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals
- Coordinate closely with design, construction, and commissioning teams
- Monitor progress of key MEP areas such as LV rooms, ETS, IDF, Server rooms
- Support variation management, RFIs, and coordination with QS and Planning teams
- Ensure compliance with QMS, HSE, ISMS, ESTIDAMA / LEED requirements
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with suppliers and manufacturers
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8–15 years of relevant MEP construction experience
- Proven experience working on Data Center projects
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and construction codes
- Solid understanding of electrical systems in mission critical environments
- Experience in material submittals, shop drawing review, and site coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Overview
- James L Williams Middle East is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Projects team.
- This role will support the delivery of complex Data Center projects, ensuring all electrical works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, budget, and project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
