About the Role
Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical and commercial support for electrical systems in fit-out and renovation projects in Jeddah.

- Review concept design criteria of electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to ensure local and international standards are met
- Review Detailed Design Drawings of Electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to verify all systems are included and coordinated with other disciplines
- Review BOQ (Bill of quantities) to ensure matching with detailed design drawings and specifications
- Review and approve site (installation) drawings of electrical systems and provide technical comments
- Review material submittal and samples of electrical items for compliance with specifications
- Review and validate Electrical Load Calculations, Panel Schedules and Lighting Studies
- Ensure commercial offers from vendors are compared with market prices and negotiate to reach best prices
- Implement value engineering to reduce cost of projects
- Review and validate As built drawings of installed electrical systems
- Attend meetings with consultants to discuss electrical system aspects and highlight ALJM requirements
- Liaise with authorities (SECO) for power supply applications
- Conduct frequent site visits to inspect work progress of electrical systems (LV & LC)
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of related experience in the field
- Through knowledge of KSA and International electrical standards
- Saudi Council of Engineering Certificate
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Communication and presentation skills
- Analytical and methodical approach

Job Title and Purpose
- Job Title: Electrical Engineer GM
- Purpose: Provide technical and commercial support related to electrical systems for projects executed by ALJM Fit out and renovation.
- Provide support for power supply matters such as SECO power applications, Backup diesel generators solutions.
- Value engineering to achieve best technical and commercial implementations of electrical systems.
- Assure compliance to electrical safety standards throughout ALJM Fit out and renovation.
Key Accountabilities
- Review concept design criteria of electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to ensure local and international standards are met.
- Review Detailed Design Drawings of Electrical systems (LV & LC installations) to verify all systems are included and coordinated.

Major Activities

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 years of related experience in the field.
