- Support engineering activities associated with following subsystems of power plant Transformers (for Excitation system and SFC) Excitation systems Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR) Static Frequency Converters (SFC) Metering systems Generator Control & Protection Relay Panel (GCRP)

- Technical & Engineering Responsibilities Prepare, review, and understand: Design document for generator main section electrical systems and respective Single Line Diagrams (SLD) Calculation sheet Logic diagrams Protection philosophies Specifications and electrical engineering documents Site test procedure and site test report Perform engineering review and technical analysis related to: Generator protection systems Short circuit calculations Electrical coordination studies Apply relevant ANSI / IEEE standards including: IEEE 242 IEEE 551 Other applicable protection and power system standards
