- Prepare detailed electrical design, shop, coordination, and as built drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software
- Develop and maintain electrical system drawings including cable routing, cable tray layouts, electrical room arrangements, single line diagrams, load schedules
- Extract 3D models for clash detection analysis, schedule reviews, and quantity surveying activities
- Ensure all models, drawings, and deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM requirements, company standards, and quality procedures
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and project compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in building, residential, industrial, infrastructure projects in GCC/UAE

- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (MV, LV, lighting, small power, substations, grounding)

Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Electrical Draftsman. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical design, shop, coordination, and as built drawings for building, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the GCC and UAE.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in building, residential, industrial, infrastructure, and related projects within the GCC/UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, and BIM software.
- Ability to set up new Revit project files and support BIM workflows.
- Strong computer skills with proven experience in producing high quality working drawings.
- Excellent problem solving, multitasking, and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of ELV/ICT systems, including Fire & Life Safety Systems, Telecommunications Systems, Security Systems, Audio Visual Systems, Structured Cabling Systems, and Other ELV Systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, including Medium Voltage (MV) Networks, Low Voltage (LV) Networks, Lighting Systems, Small Power Systems, Substations, Grounding and Bonding Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical design, shop, coordination, and as built drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Develop and maintain electrical system drawings including Cable Routing Layouts, Cable Tray and Trunking Layouts, Electrical Room Arrangements, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Load Schedules and Equipment Schedules.
- Extract 3D models for clash detection analysis, schedule reviews, and quantity surveying activities.
- Ensure all models, drawings, and deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM requirements, company standards, and quality procedures.
- Prepare engineering drawings from BIM models, including layouts, profiles, sections, and detailed arrangements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and project compliance.
- Apply company drafting standards, engineering practices, and BIM protocols throughout project execution.
- Mark up and revise drawings, maps, and sketches based on project requirements and engineering feedback.
- Prepare project cover sheets, technical documentation, and drawing submissions as required.
- Utilize specialized drafting and BIM software to retrieve, manage, and present engineering information efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience in BIM modeling and clash detection processes.
- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables within deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
