Job Summary
- To be a key, research producing member of the Market Insights & Strategy team within the Global Markets division of FAB.
- Successful candidate will work as an integral part of the team in providing internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients with regular, timely and value accretive insights and analysis across the team's stated areas of coverage.
- Recognized as an experienced member of the Global Markets team regarding GCC fixed income markets in particular.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the provision of regular, timely and relevant insights to Global Markets colleagues, broader CIB colleagues, senior leadership, and clients through various publications.
- Ownership and primary responsibility for compiling and publishing periodic Fixed Income research reports focusing on the development of GCC fixed income market.
- Responsible to look at new issues (sukuks & bonds) in the GCC fixed income market, analyzing issuer/fundamental risk and proactively provide views on pricing and risk reward.
- Monitor primary and secondary fixed income market in the GCC and border EM to identify trends and opportunities.
- Keep a close watch on broader macro and credit events/data for maintaining house view on markets.
- Support other analysts within the Market Insights team with their publications and daily workflow.
- Be one of the main go to people within the team, providing stakeholders with relevant expertise and analysis.
- Plays a crucial role in enhancing the output of the Market Insights & Strategy team and increasing its visibility.
- A key producer of published reports distributed directly to clients and posted on the corporate website.
- Responsible for further developing the quality of reports and enhancing distribution channels.
- Training/mentoring junior analysts.
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategy and transformation projects.
Additional Information
- Work on strategic pitchbooks/presentations for sales and relationship managers for FAB's brand building purpose.
