Responsibilities
- Serve as Duty Manager of the Inpatient & Outpatient Services Departments
- Supervise, coordinate and monitor the health care provided in the departments
- Ensure daily reporting of operational notes including census and codes, admission in critical areas
- Provide direction and control over all inpatients & Outpatient departments/units activities during assigned period
- Communicate with insurance approval office regarding patient or finance issues
- Coordinate with other healthcare facilities for patient transfers
- Take immediate actions with lifesaving cases admitted in ER after medical justification
- Coordinate with security department to report traffic accidents, suspicious conditions, and suicide attempts to MOI
- Maintain frequent contact with patients and their families to solve problems and assure satisfaction
- Conduct rounds in all outpatients and inpatients wards to ensure patient needs are met
- Assist with any delays in referrals for inpatients across various specialties
- Plan, organize, direct, and control major functions of the department (Senior Duty Manager duties)

- Should possess good organizational skills and be able to work in high stress situations

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Serves as Duty Manager of the Inpatient & Outpatient Services Departments.
- Supervises, coordinates and monitors the health care provided in the departments.
- Compliance in daily report in writing to the management / officers and daily phone report to the CEO.
- Ensures daily reporting of operational notes including census and codes, admission in critical areas.
- Provides direction and control over all inpatients & Outpatient departments/units activities during assigned period.
- Communicates with company's approval office regarding any insurance patient or finance for cash issues.
- Communicates with other healthcare facilities for transfer patients.
- Takes immediate actions with lifesaving cases admitted in ER after medical justification.
- Coordinates with the security department to report traffic accidents, suspicious patient conditions, and confirmed suicide attempts to MOI.
- Aligns with Medical Chairpersons, Medical Staff of Inpatient Services, and other staff to coordinate healthcare delivery.
- Maintains frequent contact with patients and their families to solve problems and assure their satisfaction.
- Conducts rounds in all outpatients (clinics & ER) and inpatients wards to ensure Fakeeh healthcare providers are meeting patients needs.
Duties related to Senior Duty Managers
- Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the major functions of the department.
- Maintains frequent contact with the QRM department for review and analysis of collected data.
- Maintains 24/7 coverage to address operational issues, support hospital functions, and respond to emergencies.
Skills and Abilities
- Must be clearly able to communicate with patients and their families, physicians and non medical staff.
- Should possess good organizational skills and be able to work in high stress situations.
