Role Overview
Coordinate shipments, deliveries, pick-ups, drivers, customers, warehouses, and internal transport teams.
Support timely and efficient delivery operations while handling service issues and changing route requirements.
Responsibilities
- Schedule shipments, deliveries, and pick-ups with customers and drivers.
- Monitor driver and vehicle locations and update transport order statuses in TMS and dispatch software.
- Plan routes based on traffic, weather, delivery windows, urgency, location, and available resources.
- Resolve delays, route changes, service disruptions, and complex customer issues.
- Maintain transport records, driver logs, bills of lading, proof of delivery, and service agreements.
- Coordinate warehouse loading schedules and inventory availability.
- Provide driver instructions and proactively update customers about delays and estimated arrival times.
- Participate in shift handovers, emergency dispatch support, and service improvement analysis.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of logistics dispatcher experience is required.
- At least 1 year of route-planning experience is required.
- At least 1 year of driver team leader experience is required.
- Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize urgent service requests.
- Ability to support after-hours or emergency dispatch operations as needed.
Compensation
- Full-time position paying SAR 3,000–5,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Jeddah.
