About The Role

As a

Dry Store & Nominated Planning Manager

  • , you will lead and govern end-to-end planning operations for dry store and nominated products across a complex global portfolio.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring product availability, inventory accuracy, cost control, and system integrity while aligning demand planning with operational execution and supplier capabilities.
  • Your role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with Culinary, Procurement, suppliers, and catering partners to ensure effective execution of planning strategies and operational delivery.
  • As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
  • Define and implement inventory planning strategies to balance service levels, cost efficiency, and operational resilience across a large SKU portfolio.
  • Translate demand requirements, menu changes, and business priorities into actionable planning frameworks and stock policies.
  • Oversee forecasting, ordering, and replenishment activities, ensuring alignment with safety stock levels, budget controls, and operational constraints.
  • Manage inventory health, including ageing stock, slow-moving items, excess mitigation, and waste reduction.
  • Ensure nominated products are planned, ordered, and deployed in line with approved specifications and timelines.
  • Act as the key planning interface across Culinary, Procurement, caterers, and suppliers to ensure alignment between product intent and operational execution.
  • Ensure data accuracy and governance across systems, including ERP and operational platforms, for all planning activities.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, demand fluctuations, and operational constraints with effective contingency planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and strengthen supplier collaboration.
  • Prepare management reports and insights on planning performance, risks, and financial exposure for senior stakeholders.
  • Perform other department duties related to this position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About You

  • High School / Vocational Qualification or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 7 years of job-related experience in F&B or FMCG demand planning and inventory management
  • Relevant experience in airline catering or large-scale operations
  • Strong analytical capability with commercial acumen
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to manage complex planning operations and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong command of English
  • Experience in supply chain, procurement, or vendor management environments
  • Knowledge of quality or compliance frameworks Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
