Responsibilities
- Service and repair drilling equipment such as mud pumps, rotary systems, top drives, Drawworks, Iron Roughneck, hoisting equipment, Power slips, Pipe racking systems and rig components
- Perform field service and maintenance on drilling equipment
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with drilling equipment
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Fully conversant with all API standards relating to OEM equipment
- Experience with all major drilling equipment brands
- Prior experience working in the Gulf region with OEM
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in servicing and repair of drilling equipment (e.g., mud pumps, rotary systems, top drives, Drawworks, Iron Roughneck, hoisting equipment, Power slips, Pipe racking systems and rig components)
- Fully conversant with Hydraulic equipment and systems
- Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving skills
- Strong technical skills with hands on experience in field service and maintenance
- Ability to work independently
