About the Role

Responsibilities
- Create precise technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical projects adhering to industry standards
- Design solar PV systems including panel layouts, string sizing, and electrical wiring diagrams
- Collaborate with technical/design managers, engineers, and project managers to meet project requirements
- Create detailed layouts, circuit diagrams, sketches, and drawings for new and modified equipment specifications
- Maintain accurate project documentation including revisions and as built drawings
- Provide technical support to project teams and other departments
- Suggest design modifications or improvements to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Identify and address design issues or discrepancies proactively
- Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and best practices related to electrical design and solar PV systems
Requirements
- Advanced vocational or technical training from a reputed institution
- Minimum 2 5 years of work experience in drafting for electrical projects
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and MICRO Station
- Functional knowledge of electrical and solar projects
- Basic understanding of engineering skills and concepts
- Drafting speed and ability to find corrections and devise drawings
- Willingness to work to deadlines
