Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions
- Provide professional counseling to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Maintain compliance with DOH regulations, pharmacy policies, and healthcare standards
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for stock replenishment
- Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled medications
- Support health promotion and patient education initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Valid DOH Pharmacist License (mandatory)
- Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory)
- Minimum 2–5 years of pharmacy experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations, and patient counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office applications
