Position Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support building construction projects.
The role is based in the UAE and focuses on controlling, tracking, and coordinating project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain drawings, specifications, method statements, RFIs, submittals, reports, correspondence, and transmittals.
- Receive, register, distribute, track, number, date, file, and control project documents.
- Maintain registers, current revisions, submission records, approval statuses, and transmittals.
- Prevent use of obsolete documents and follow up on pending approvals, comments, revisions, and overdue submissions.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and internal departments.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and manage documents through Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
- Maintain confidentiality and access controls, assist with project reports, and support archiving and final handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Document Controller in building construction.
- Experience with construction project documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
