- Act as the primary communication link between branch teams, drivers, and customers
- Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and transfers
- Maintain clear communication to support customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Manage paperwork, documentation, and system updates with high accuracy
- Prioritize and adjust schedules to meet changing business demands
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support branch and regional operations
- Support after hours and on call dispatch coverage as required
- Assist with loading and unloading customer pick ups while keeping product shelves stocked
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Dispatching experience or experience in a related role like driving or delivering heavy equipment
- High attention to detail with excellent paperwork and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain positive relationships
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Self starter with keen sense of time management and effective planning skills
- Flexibility to work after hours, varying shifts, and participate in on call schedules
- Experience with Systematics is an asset
- Familiarity with construction equipment and building products is an asset

Position Overview
- Battlefield Equipment Rentals is Canada's leading construction equipment rental company, part of Toromont Industries Ltd.
- As a Dispatcher, you'll be the primary communication link between branch staff, drivers and customers, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate and dispatch trucking requirements and equipment transfers across the region.
- Act as the primary communication link between branch teams, drivers, and customers.
- Ensure timely, efficient, and accurate scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and transfers.
- Maintain clear communication to support customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

- Prioritize and adjust schedules to meet changing business demands.

What We're Looking For
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Experience with Systematics would be an asset.
- Dispatching Experience: Or experience in a related role like driving or delivering heavy equipment.
- Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products is an asset.
- Detail Oriented: High attention to detail with excellent paperwork and organizational skills.
