Role overview
Supermicro is seeking a dynamic Director, Solutions to lead a high-performing team supporting multiple sales divisions and business growth in EMEA.
The role aligns solution strategies with revenue goals and coordinates execution across cross-functional teams.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Develop product roadmaps and lead development and integration of storage, server, and JBOD system products.
- Develop solution strategies and partner with marketing, engineering, and business development on complete server solutions.
- Create technical product requirements for cloud and data center infrastructure solutions.
- Engage customers, including senior executives, engineering teams, and product marketing, to communicate capabilities and understand requirements.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management and vendors for resolution.
- Provide product training to internal teams, sales teams, and customers.
- Provide third-level customer support to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with at least 15 years of hands-on system or server architecture experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in product marketing and/or product management is required.
