Role Overview
Lead the strategy, execution, and growth of the KSA R&D site in alignment with global CTO technology priorities.
The role focuses on AI, robotics, intelligent manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and technology innovation in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance on AI/ML applications, autonomous robotics, intelligent manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 solutions.
- Translate emerging technologies and research outcomes into scalable, measurable, business-oriented R&D initiatives.
- Build, lead, and cultivate a high-performance local R&D team.
- Operate independently and make strategic decisions under complex and ambiguous business scenarios.
- Engage with government institutions, universities, research institutes, and industrial partners in the Saudi innovation ecosystem.
- Develop strategic partnerships aligned with technology innovation and digital transformation priorities.
- Advocate for AI technology application and industrial promotion in the Middle East market.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in R&D management, senior engineering, or technical leadership roles at director level or above.
- Comprehensive technical vision in AI, robotics, intelligent manufacturing, and other deep-tech fields.
- Proven ability to lead complex interdisciplinary R&D projects covering software, hardware, and data systems.
- Strong independent working ability and sound judgment to deliver results with minimal supervision.
- In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabia's technology innovation ecosystem, technology strategies, and key industrial stakeholders.
