About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for business growth of the wellness department
- Develop and implement the agreed annual budget and business plan
- Monitor financial performance and operations to support department objectives
- Establish Asaya Spa as the primary wellness destination in the city
- Design and create wellness packages, retreats, programs, and menu development
- Oversee marketing and member/guest utilization of spa services and facilities
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, F&B, and Rooms to integrate wellness into guest experience
- Implement and maintain high standards of wellness programs following Forbes guidelines
- Lead the wellness team, including hiring, training, and supervising associates
- Manage membership program and strategic partnerships with in house businesses
Requirements
- Extensive experience in spa and wellness leadership, preferably in luxury hospitality
- In depth knowledge of spa industry trends, wellness research, and innovation
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and revenue maximization
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for holistic wellness and ability to inspire wellness focused change

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides strategic direction for business growth.
- Develop and implement the agreed annual budget and business plan.
- Monitors the financial performance and operations to support the objective of the Department.
- Establishing the Asaya Spa as the primary wellness destination within the city.
- Design and create wellness packages, retreats, programs, menu development, facilities journey planning, and marketing.
- Oversee the overall marketing and member/guest utilization of the services and facilities of the Asaya Spa.
- Implement and maintain a high standard of wellness programs, following guidelines and benchmarks set by Forbes.
- Lead the wellness team of holistic wellness and spa professionals.
Financial Responsibilities
- Responsible for the business channels of membership, online bookings, services sales, and retail sales. Achieving GOP.
- Establish and manage a robust membership program.
- Maximize departmental revenues for the hotel through appropriate strategies.
- Establish annual departmental operating budgets as well as capital expenditure and manpower budgets.
Talent & Culture Responsibilities
- Driving the Company value, culture, and brand throughout the organization.
- Hire, train, and supervise all associates.
- Ensure that the departmental training manual is continuously updated, maintained, and used effectively.
- Ensure that all aspects of associate performance are managed within the department.
