Director of Product, API & AI Orchestration

Role overview

What you'll do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the API and AI orchestration platform.
• Build, lead, and grow a product management team and establish its operating rhythm.
• Define the MCP strategy for secure access by external AI assistants and agents.
• Own platform commercial modeling, including usage-based and tiered monetization.
• Set developer and partner experience standards across documentation, onboarding, versioning, SDKs, sandbox, and self-service.
• Partner with engineering, security, and compliance leaders on governance, permissions, consent, audit, and compliance.
• Lead alignment across product, engineering, data, payments, go-to-market, and partnerships.
• Shape the partner ecosystem strategy and prioritize integrations and endpoints.
• Define KPIs for adoption, partner activation, reliability, and monetized consumption.
• Act as an internal and external platform evangelist.

What you'll need

• 15+ years in product management, including experience leading and growing product teams.
• Track record owning API, platform, or developer-facing products from strategy through delivery.
• Success building or scaling a platform, API, or ecosystem business with a commercial model.
• Technical fluency in REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication, authorization, webhooks, versioning, and governance.
• Ability to translate platform vision into strategy, business cases, organizational design, and delivery.
• Executive presence and communication skills for leadership and board-level engagement.
• Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent relevant experience.

Additional qualifications

• Familiarity with MCP, AI agent tooling, function or tool calling, or LLM orchestration is an advantage.
• Experience with platform or API monetization, including usage-based pricing, metering, entitlements, and packaging is an advantage.
• Exposure to payments, fintech, CRM, or systems of record with strong compliance and data governance is an advantage.
• Experience in private-equity-backed or high-growth software environments is an advantage.
• Understanding of agile methodology and the ability to lead multiple initiatives is an advantage.

Compensation

• Anticipated annual compensation is listed as $174,000 to $202,000 USD or 530,000 to 540,000 PLN.
• Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs depending on applicable factors.
