About the Role
Accor invites you to join Raffles The Palm as Director of Finance, leading the hotel's finance function. Reporting to the Regional Vice President & Managing Director, you will oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cost control while ensuring alignment with Accor and Raffles standards.

- Develop and implement the hotel's financial planning and budgeting process
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Monitor budget performance and identify cost saving opportunities
- Oversee cash flow management and implement cash handling procedures
- Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance and training
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and coordinate with external auditors

- Experience in financial leadership role in luxury hospitality
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
- Proven ability to manage finance team and coordinate with auditors

Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the hotel's financial planning and budgeting process.
- Monitor and review budget performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement and cost saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights into the hotel's performance.
- Work closely with revenue management team to set room rates and optimize revenue.
- Implement cost control measures to manage expenses efficiently.
- Oversee the financial operation of the hotel.
- Coordinate effective Payroll Management/Resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and local tax laws.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audit.
- Oversee cash flow management and maintain adequate cash reserves.
- Collaborate with executive team to develop financial strategies.
