- Partner with Product, Operations, Design, and other business leaders to deliver scalable, high quality solutions
- Establish and promote engineering best practices, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive architectural decisions, technology investments, and engineering processes that improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Build, recruit, and retain high performing engineering talent while supporting career development and succession planning
- Monitor engineering performance through key metrics, resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management
- Ensure the security, reliability, and operational excellence of engineering systems and infrastructure
- Communicate engineering priorities, progress, and risks effectively to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience
- At least 5 years in engineering leadership roles
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and developing engineering managers
- Strong technical background in software architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern development practices
- Experience managing engineering budgets, staffing, resource planning, and organizational growth
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, software quality, and operational excellence

About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Engineering to lead our engineering organization through its next phase of growth.
- Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure successful delivery of high quality, scalable products.
What You Will Do

What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and developing engineering managers.
- Strong technical background in software architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.
- Demonstrated ability to align engineering execution with business and operational objectives.
- Experience managing engineering budgets, staffing, resource planning, and organizational growth.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, software quality, and operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem solving abilities.
