Company Description

  • Join us at Accor, where life pulses with passion!
  • As a pioneer in the art of responsible hospitality, the Accor Group gathers more than 45 brands, 5,600 hotels, 10,000 restaurants, and lifestyle destinations in 110 countries.

Role Overview

  • The Projects team is dedicated to supporting Accor’s opening teams and owners by delivering a tailored procurement value proposition.
  • This role simplifies the pre opening process, generates value for all stakeholders, and ensures compliance with Accor’s procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the end to end pre opening procurement strategy for the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across MEA, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and owner expectations.
  • Drive cross functional collaboration with Brand D&TS, Development, Operations, and Finance to deliver integrated project outcomes.
  • Own BOQs, budgets, and procurement roadmaps; manage a network of Procurement Agents and external consultants with clear performance standards.
  • Lead mock up reviews, OS&E design presentations, and takeover evaluations, representing Accor procurement at senior owner and brand forums.
  • Project P&L tracking and revenue collection; deliver executive level strategic reporting to SVPs, VPOs, and C suite stakeholders.
  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks — including lead time exposure, geopolitical disruption, and currency volatility — that could impact project opening dates or budget integrity.
  • Enforce brand standards throughout the procurement process; identify, escalate, and resolve deviations in coordination with brand, operations, and ownership stakeholders without compromising timelines or budgets.
  • Develop internal procurement capability by mentoring junior pre opening coordinators and procurement officers across the MEA region; embed repeatable processes and tools across the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 15 years in procurement, supply chain, or project management within luxury hospitality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi property or multi country program budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Grounded understanding of hotel operations, with the credibility to engage GMs, Heads of Department, and opening teams on operational readiness and procurement sequencing.
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement platforms.
  • Established knowledge of luxury FF&E manufacturers, OS&E distributors, and freight/logistics networks across MEA markets, including customs and last mile considerations.
  • Expert negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong programme management and P&L ownership; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive procurement process adoption across diverse pre opening teams operating under time pressure.
  • Travel 40%+ across the MEA region and market experience of this region is strongly preferred.
  • Arabic language a plus.
