About the Role
The Institut français du Qatar seeks a Deputy Director / Attaché for French cooperation to lead the institute's delegated direction and drive educational and linguistic cooperation policy.

Responsibilities
- Ensure delegated direction of the Institut français du Qatar in Doha
- Participate in defining and implementing the establishment's strategy in cultural, cooperation, or development fields
- Contribute to budget preparation, personnel management, and implementation of analysis, monitoring, and evaluation tools
- Lead teams and organize events and activities
- Support the development of bilingual Francophone streams and strengthen the place of French in private schools
- Monitor French language development projects in Qatari high schools with the Ministry of Education
- Position the IFQ as a pedagogical reference center for FLE and FLsco teachers
- Develop and diversify course offerings and exam center activity
- Support the development of French at university level and promote higher education in France
- Monitor the activity of French educational establishments and foster networking through cross cutting projects and training
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in directing a public or private institution abroad or in France, in cultural institutions or local authorities
- Very good knowledge of networks in university, educational, and cultural fields
- Expertise in pedagogical engineering / didactics of languages specialization in FLE or equivalent
- Knowledge or mastery of a local language (Arabic) is an asset
- Knowledge of the region is an asset

- Under the authority of the COCAC/Director of the Institut français du Qatar, you will ensure the delegated direction of the Institute and drive educational and linguistic cooperation policy to promote the French language and Francophonie.
Activités principales

Diplômes ou expérience professionnelle recommandée
