Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geospatial or Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree in a related field is preferred, along with 5–7 years of relevant production experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with ArcGIS or QGIS, spatial databases, geospatial services or APIs, and spatial analytics is required.
- Experience with digital twins, BIM-GIS integration, and 3D spatial modelling is required.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience building or consuming APIs, are required.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Docker, and a major cloud platform is expected.
- Experience with spatial dashboards and web maps is required.
- Arabic and English proficiency is required.
- Infrastructure or construction experience, BIM tools, asset management, reality capture, certifications, and a relevant portfolio are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain GIS data models, layers, basemaps, and geospatial services.
- Develop and operate digital twins connecting BIM and spatial models with live project and asset data.
- Deliver spatial analytics and visualizations for site analysis, asset condition, project progress, and scenario planning.
- Integrate spatial data with platforms and APIs and maintain interoperability.
- Maintain spatial data quality, coordinate systems, and metadata under governance requirements.
- Scope use cases with business units, define success metrics, and demonstrate business value.
- Mentor analysts through code reviews, design feedback, and technical pairing.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, security reviews, and vendor evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with UAE data protection regulations and information security policies.
