Digital Infrastructure & Cloud Lead

Role Purpose

Infrastructure and Deployment

• Implement and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using approved patterns and infrastructure-as-code templates.
• Provision resources, networks, storage, and platform services.
• Deploy and validate development, test, staging, and production environments through repeatable pipelines.

Automation and Infrastructure as Code

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code modules, automation scripts, and deployment pipelines.
• Create operational playbooks for configuration drift remediation, automated patching, and self-healing.

Monitoring and Performance

• Implement metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts for proactive detection and rapid troubleshooting.
• Analyze and tune compute, storage, and network performance and support capacity forecasting.

Security and Resilience

• Apply platform hardening, patching, backup, recovery, configuration baselines, and remediation procedures.
• Support disaster-recovery exercises and backup verification and implement resilient deployment patterns.

Incident Response and Support

• Act as the escalation point for complex incidents, including triage, root-cause analysis, fixes, workarounds, and documented closure.
• Collaborate with application teams, integration owners, and vendors to resolve cross-stack faults and reduce recurrence.

Reporting and Knowledge Sharing

• Provide operational updates on deployments, incidents, risks, and improvements.
• Maintain runbooks, configuration baselines, deployment playbooks, change records, and onboarding material.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least three years of related experience or equivalent is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Infrastructure and architecture certifications, including Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP-DCV, ITIL, CompTIA, or Fortinet NSE, are preferred.
