Maintenance Activities
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on depot equipment and workshop machinery.
- Troubleshoot faults, perform repairs and adjustments, and replace defective components.
- Maintain the availability and reliability of depot equipment assets.
- Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring.
- Support breakdown recovery and emergency maintenance interventions.
Technical Duties
- Read and understand technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Use testing and measuring instruments for diagnostics and maintenance activities.
- Record maintenance activities in CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- Prepare maintenance reports and intervention records.
- Assist engineers and supervisors during major maintenance activities and investigations.
Safety and Quality
- Apply Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping within workshops and maintenance areas.
- Ensure maintenance activities meet quality requirements and project standards.
- Report safety observations, incidents, near misses, and equipment abnormalities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hold a diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- An Industrial Technical Institute certification or equivalent recognized qualification is also accepted.
- Have at least two years of maintenance experience in railway, metro, LRT, depot equipment, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Be medically fit for railway maintenance activities.
- Pass project-required medical examinations and background verification.
Preferred Certifications
- Preferred certifications include electrical safety, LOTO, working at height, first aid, or mechanical/electrical technical certifications.
