Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in children and/or adults
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on patient evaluation and clinical findings
- Provide therapy for conditions such as speech delays, articulation disorders, stammering, aphasia, dysphagia, and developmental language disorders
- Conduct regular patient progress assessments and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate and counsel patients and families regarding therapy goals, home programs, and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment planning
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, ethical standards, and healthcare regulations
- Support awareness and early identification of speech and language disorders in the community or clinical setting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Therapy / Speech Language Pathology
- DHA Licensed or DHA Eligibility Letter (preferred/mandatory as per requirement)
- Proven experience in speech therapy (pediatric and/or adult cases preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient focused, and detail oriented approach
