DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Cloud Infrastructure

• Design and manage highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Architect scalable development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage networking, storage, compute resources, and cloud security.
• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and operational costs.

CI/CD and Reliability

• Build CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement rollback, validation, monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in postmortem reviews.

Security and Containers

• Implement DevSecOps practices, manage secrets and access controls, and harden infrastructure.
• Build and manage Docker-based containerized applications.
• Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters, including ingress, service mesh, storage, and cluster operations.

Collaboration

• Partner with Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Security teams.
• Support developers with infrastructure, deployments, and operational tooling.
• Document infrastructure architecture and operational processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across platform engineering and operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering experience.
• Strong public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or a comparable platform.
• Hands-on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, scripting, troubleshooting, and observability experience.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience working within Agile engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure, GPU workloads, MLOps platforms, or model deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of GitOps, service mesh, serverless, multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, distributed systems, or microservices.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.

• The technical stack includes AWS, GCP or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD platforms, Linux, Python, Bash or Go, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenSearch, Loki, ArgoCD, Flux, Git, NGINX, Traefik, and HAProxy.
