The Role

  • The Design Studio Assistant provides administrative support and assists with homeowner interior selection process.
  • This part time position (2 3 days per week) supports meeting preparation, documentation, studio organization, and purchaser communication.
  • Assists with colour selection appointments for inventory homes and ensures accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Designers with preparation for purchaser meetings.
  • Conduct colour selection appointments for inventory homes.
  • Provide purchaser orientations and walkthroughs.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries.
  • Process purchaser payments and maintain records.
  • Prepare and maintain client paperwork packages.
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and administrative tasks.
  • Support Designers with CAD sketches and design documentation.
  • Maintain and update Design Studio resources and displays.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Design Studio.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary diploma, certification, or degree in Interior Design or Interior Decorating preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, administrative support, interior design, or interior decorating preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign is an asset.
  • Knowledge of residential construction is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Professional and customer focused approach.
  • Ability to travel to communities, job sites, and events when required.

Salary

  • $23 $24 hourly
