About the Role
Richcraft is looking for a Residential Building Operator to manage day-to-day operations of a low-rise residential portfolio. You will respond to resident issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and ensure high service levels.

Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests
- Perform resident service requests and routine repairs and maintenance for in suite, interior and exterior common areas
- Monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and small appliances
- Emergency on call duty for after hours building issues
- Monitor performance of external contractors
- Supervise and coordinate tenant move in and move out
- Perform regular property inspections of units, common areas, building exteriors, and landscape
- Keep accurate records of space conditions including roof, HVAC and utilities
- Clean light fixtures and change bulbs/tubes
- Prepare and submit reports based on operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Building Operator and/or Superintendent
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Valid driver's license and car
- Exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize work and adhere to maintenance schedules

The Role
- Richcraft is looking for a Building Operator to join our operations team on our low rise residential portfolio.
- The Residential Building Operator will be responsible for managing day to day operations, responding to tenant inquiries, and ensuring high service levels.
In This Role, You Will:
- Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests.
- Be available to residents for general inquiries.
- Act as a liaison between residents and management.
- Perform resident service requests and routine repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Emergency on call duty for after hours building issues.
- Monitor performance of external contractors.
- Supervise and coordinate tenant move in and move out.

What You Bring:
- Possess preventative attitude and proactive communication.
- 2+ years of experience as a Building Operator and/or Superintendent.

- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license and car.
- Demonstrated high degree of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize work and adhere to maintenance schedules.
- Ability to enhance positive relationships with residents, tenants and vendors.
Salary Range
- CAD 55,000 CAD 60,000 annually.
