About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to act as the key client interface, ensuring projects are delivered to time, cost, quality, and safety standards. The role involves managing pre-construction activities, design processes, budgets, and timelines.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all mechanical pre construction activities, including design constructability, procurement, contracts, and budget planning
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
- Co ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
- Contract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates
- Bring strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- A minimum of 10 years project management experience
- Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all the operational stages to completion and post project review
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques
- Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment, ideally residential, office, fit outs and health & education
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential, and Primavera skills will be highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
