Job Purpose
The Design Architect is a hands-on role developing luxury villa architectural designs from concept through technical documentation.
The role is responsible for producing high-quality, functional, buildable designs that meet client requirements and Dubai regulations.
Architectural Design
- Develop architectural concepts, layouts, elevations, and design solutions for luxury villas.
- Prepare mood boards, material selections, 3D visualizations, and presentations.
- Develop designs from concept through technical drawings and execution handover.
- Coordinate designs with interior, landscape, structural, and MEP requirements.
Technical Documentation
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and architectural documentation.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with relevant authority requirements.
- Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation control.
- Coordinate with consultants and project teams to resolve technical issues.
Coordination and Development
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, projects, operations, and landscape teams to ensure designs are practical and deliverable.
- Select materials, finishes, and architectural elements.
- Support client presentations, proposals, and tender submissions.
Quality and Standards
- Establish design standards, style guides, and best practices across villa projects.
- Stay current with luxury villa and landscape design trends, materials, and design technology.
- Maintain design consistency and brand identity across the project portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- At least five years of architectural design experience, preferably involving luxury villas.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural and technical design skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and relevant visualization tools.
- Knowledge of materials, detailing, construction methods, and Dubai authority requirements.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage and a UAE driving license is preferred.
- Strong creative design judgment, attention to detail, deadline management, client communication, and team leadership skills.
