Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards
- Document all relevant patient information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner
- Ensure the clinic is ready for effective use by the physician from consumable material stock and medical equipment standpoint
- Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines
- Report equipment failures, safety, and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to nurse supervisor
- Act as an advocate for patients and families
- Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi disciplinary team
- Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for prevention of healthcare associated infections
- Contribute to achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction
- Participate in self education, training and development
- Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials
- Adhere to Medicines Management for safe keeping and administration of medication
Requirements
- Nursing degree and valid license
- Experience in dermatology or clinical nursing
- Knowledge of evidence based nursing practice
- Ability to document patient information accurately and timely

Accountabilities
- Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation, evidence based nursing practice.
