- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior leadership
- Lead and mentor project team members
- Manage escalations and resolve conflicts between project stakeholders
- Analyze project data and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of project management experience
- At least 10 years in a senior project management or deputy director capacity
- Proven experience managing airport development, cargo expansion, or operational projects
- Strong knowledge of airport operations, aviation industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial forecasting, and cost control
- Proficiency with project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high performing teams
- Experience with airport infrastructure projects in the Middle East region (preferred)

Job Description
- We are seeking a Deputy Project Director to join our dynamic project management team in Doha, Qatar.
- Support the Project Director in overseeing complex airport development and operational projects from conception through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
