Job Purpose
Lead plant teams and activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Optimize resource utilization and deliver uninterrupted power or water supply in accordance with defined standards.
Fulfill contractual obligations and maximize plant revenue.
Reports to the Plant General Manager.
The role has approximately 3 to 10 direct reports and 100 to 300 total employees.
Strategy and People Management
- Develop the plant strategy in line with operations and maintenance strategy and coordinate with interfacing departments.
- Report plant operational and maintenance activities, challenges, issues, and mitigations to management.
- Prepare board presentations covering financial, warranty, operational, and manpower information.
- Manage direct and indirect report performance, workforce requirements, recruitment coordination, and team objectives.
- Provide feedback, coaching, mentoring, and talent development to support team competence and progression.
