About the Role
Confidential Company seeks a Datacenter Electrical/Mechanical Facility Engineer (L2) to support 24x7 operations, manage critical infrastructure, and ensure uptime. Requires experience in UPS, generators, cooling systems, and incident management.

Responsibilities
- Support operations covering 24x7
- Commission, configure, and install equipment
- Rectify faults and deficiencies at passive level
- Perform quarterly deep cleaning of relevant equipment
- Ensure uptime and availability of critical infrastructure
- Monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems
- Test and validate systems and connectivity
- Label all devices, cables, and infrastructure
- Support inventory control, asset tagging, and tracking
- Manage UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems
- Maintain MDFs, IDFs, and FECs
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Requirements
- Experience in datacenter electrical and mechanical facility management
- Knowledge of UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems
- Experience with incident and problem management
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISO 20000

Operations Management
- Supporting operations covering 24x7
- Commissioning, configuration and installation of equipment.
- Rectification of faults and deficiencies at passive level

- Monitor electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems.
- Testing and validation of systems and connectivity
- Labelling of all devices, cables, and infrastructure
- Support maintaining the Inventory control, asset tagging, and tracking
Critical Facilities Management
- Manage UPS, generators, PDU, ATS, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, and cooling systems.
- Power Distribution Units (PDU/RPP)
- Maintain MDFs, IDFs, and FECs
- Participate preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed.
- Perform system health checks and capacity reviews.
- Support commissioning and testing activities for new installations.
- Inventory control and asset tagging, Labelling
Incident & Problem Management
- Support incident response and escalation management.
- Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM).
Change Management
- Support on infrastructure change management
- Perform routine health checks
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with OEMs, facility vendors, and service providers.
Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and organizational policies.
- Support internal and external audit
- Support updating the operational documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and permit to work processes.
- Ensure physical security controls are followed.
Capacity & Availability Management
- Monitor power and devices availability
