Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data science objectives and translate them into actionable strategies
- Design, develop, and implement advanced predictive models and machine learning algorithms, including deep learning models
- Analyze large and diverse datasets (structured and unstructured) to uncover hidden trends, patterns, and insights
- Implement robust data quality control measures and ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Develop and maintain efficient data collection and preprocessing pipelines, including automation of data ingestion
- Create insightful data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to technical and non technical audiences
- Propose innovative and data driven solutions to address challenging business issues
- Refactor and optimize existing models, conduct rigorous testing, and monitor model performance
- Identify and evaluate new data sources to enhance the value of data driven insights
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field (relevant experience may be considered)
- 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role
- Cloud foundational certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
- Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Strong understanding of various data types and formats, including structured and unstructured data
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
