Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive and prescriptive analytics models leveraging AMI data
- Build algorithms to identify consumption patterns, anomalies, losses, and system inefficiencies
- Apply advanced statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques to support AMI performance teams
- Proactively identify data integrity, performance, and system risks and recommend preventive actions
- Translate complex analytical results into actionable business and operational insights
- Support deployment of models into production environments and ML Ops workflows
- Mentor analysts and engineers on advanced analytics methodologies
- Ensure best practices in data governance, model validation, and ethical AI usage
- Support strategic initiatives related to smart grids and digital transformation
Requirements
- PhD in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related field; or Master's with strong research background
- Minimum 13+ years of professional experience in data science or advanced analytics, preferably in utilities or energy sector
- Certified in advanced data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and Java
- Proven experience delivering end to end analytics solutions in production environments
- Written and spoken English essential; Arabic preferred

Job Purpose
- The role holder is responsible for leading advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling initiatives using AMI data. The role supports strategic and operational decision making, system optimization, and performance enhancement within the utility environment.
Core Responsibilities

Education, Experience & Skills
- PhD in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or related field; or Master’s degree with strong research background.
- Certified in advanced data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
- Minimum 13+ years of professional experience in data science or advanced analytics, preferably in utilities or energy sector.
- Advanced machine learning, statistical modeling, and data architecture skills.
- Strong programming proficiency (Python, Java).
- Proven experience delivering end to end analytics solutions in production environments.
- Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
