Role Overview
The organization is seeking an experienced Data Management Section Manager for a strategic role in a Dubai government or semi-government organization.
The role leads data management, analytics, governance, and data-driven decision-making to support organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s data management strategy, policies, frameworks, and standards.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, validation, visualization, reporting, and governance.
- Design data infrastructure and central data repositories for strategic decision-making.
- Establish data operating, archiving, quality, and management standards aligned with government requirements.
- Drive data maturity assessments and improvement initiatives.
- Oversee data security and compliance with information security policies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and data analytics tools for innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Dubai Digital, IT, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
- Lead the Data Management team through workforce planning, performance management, and capability development.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and decision-makers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, MIS, Computer Engineering, Data Analysis, or a related field.
