About the Role
RBC Global Asset Management is hiring a Data Management Analyst to maintain data integrity for securities, issuers, accounts, and benchmarks. You will perform data quality checks, create securities, and collaborate with internal clients.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enrich RBC GAM's data warehouse including security classification, analytics, and reference data
- Perform data quality checks for core data and create securities on GAM's platforms with high accuracy
- Work with team members to ensure data standards are defined and enforced consistently
- Collaborate with internal clients to identify, document, and source data requirements
- Validate data, catch errors early, and escalate issues appropriately
- Support short to mid term project implementations and contribute to team deliverables
- Document business and technical processes to support knowledge sharing
- Develop toolsets and methods to improve data quality and availability
- Proactively seek opportunities to contribute beyond assigned tasks
- Identify patterns and recurring issues and suggest proactive solutions
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in asset management or investment management operations
- Understanding of financial instruments (fixed income, equity, derivative securities) and data flows
- Strong attention to detail with ability to validate data and ensure accuracy
- Coachability and growth mindset: receptive to feedback and eager to learn
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

What is the opportunity?
- The Data Operations team is the backbone of data integrity at RBC Global Asset Management.
- As a Data Management Analyst, you'll ensure accuracy and quality of data that flows through the business.
What will you do?
- Maintain and enrich RBC GAM's data warehouse including security classification, analytics, and reference data.

Must have

Salary Range
- The expected salary range is CAD 55,000 CAD 90,000 depending on experience and other factors.
- This position may be eligible for a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
