Role Overview
Lead governance and technical assurance for a national mission-critical data center program from requirements and design through procurement, commissioning, and handover.
Act as the Owner’s Engineer and Project Management Consultant lead, enforcing quality gates, applicable standards, and target availability tiers.
Represent the Client in technical committees and provide client-assurance expertise for Middle East data center facilities.

- The position is described as on-site in Damascus Governorate, Syria.
Position Objective
Lead governance and technical assurance for a national mission-critical data center program from requirements and design through procurement, commissioning, and handover.
Act as the Owner’s Engineer and Project Management Consultant lead, enforcing quality gates, applicable standards, and target availability tiers.
Represent the Client in technical committees and provide client-assurance expertise for Middle East data center facilities.
Governance and Design Assurance
- Establish the governance model, responsibility assignment matrix, escalation matrix, and change control for the data center workstream.
- Own the lifecycle stage-gate framework and chair gate reviews that release each stage.
- Line-manage the Design Governance Lead and Field Assurance Lead and set their teams’ acceptance criteria.
- Verify designs meet capacity, availability-tier, security, resilience, critical power, and cooling requirements.
- Ensure each site meets its Tier III or Tier IV target against TIA-942 and EN 50600.
