About the Role

  • Eaton is a power management company with approximately 96,000 employees, selling products in over 175 countries.
  • Dubai serves as a strategic hub for Eaton’s Middle East operations, with a new sustainable campus under development.
  • We are looking for a DC BIM Technician Engineer to join Eaton’s Data Centre Segment and support high quality digital design solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and maintain accurate BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, NavisWorks & ACC.
  • Support integration of Eaton products into BIM object libraries for data centre projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure models reflect current specifications.
  • Assist in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution across disciplines.
  • Generate 2D drawings and 3D visualizations from BIM models for documentation and client presentations.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Eaton’s BIM standards and project specific requirements.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of BIM files throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support implementation of BIM workflows that improve design efficiency and collaboration.
  • Assist in testing and deploying new BIM tools and digital solutions for data centre applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes through automation and standardization.
  • Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Support quality control by flagging inconsistencies and coordinating corrections with teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree or related technical field.
  • 2 3 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably in data centre or industrial projects.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks is essential; familiarity with ACC is a big advantage.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and object library development.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Effective communicator and team player with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Fluent in English.
