Role Overview
Master Works is seeking a Data & Analytics Consultant to lead business intelligence and data engineering functions.
The role oversees the enterprise data warehouse, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI reporting ecosystem.
The consultant partners with Operations, HR, Finance, IT, and Strategy to define requirements, KPIs, and decision-support tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business risks.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality activities.
- Define KPIs, metrics, and performance indicators with stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Validate analytical outputs for accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare presentations, analytical reports, and executive-level insights.
- Support data governance, standards, best practices, and reporting automation.
- Provide data and analytics consulting and advisory services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data consulting.
- Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, Power BI, and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical or analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Extensive hands-on background with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
- Mastery of SQL Server or modern cloud data warehouses, relational database design, query optimization, and advanced Power BI capabilities.
- Azure, Python, DAX, Power Query, governance, data quality, master data management, AI/ML analytics, and relevant certifications are preferred.
