About the Role
Lockton is seeking a Data Analyst and Engineer to work closely with the Head of Digital to develop and implement data strategy for the region. You will create and manage data pipelines, develop data visualizations, and collaborate with stakeholders to support decision-making.

- Work closely with the Head of Digital to develop and implement data strategy for the region
- Create and manage data pipelines, develop data visualization, set up and manage data infrastructure and data flow
- Gather data from various sources, process, and analyze it to extract actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning and preparing datasets for analysis
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, translating complex data into understandable business terms
- Develop and deploy Tableau & BI tools and reporting systems
- Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data is collected accurately and efficiently
- Perform database design, development, performance tuning, and maintenance
- Integrate data from various source systems into the data warehouse
- Develop and manage data infrastructure including data lakes, data warehouses, and data processing systems
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data analyst and engineer or similar role for 3 5 years
- Exposure to insurance and the reinsurance industry is critical
- Minimum of an undergrad degree in Data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong skills in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and integration
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
