Data & AI Platform Section Head

Role Purpose

Platform Strategy and Operations

• Translate enterprise data and AI strategies into actionable engineering roadmaps and platform enablement plans.
• Lead platform engineering, deployment, provisioning, monitoring, optimization, and operational support.
• Ensure reliability, performance, scalability, security, resilience, and alignment with enterprise standards.

AI and Analytics Enablement

• Provide high-quality, reliable, and accessible data platforms for advanced analytics, AI, and enterprise reporting.
• Support business teams and data scientists with platforms, tools, and environments for AI model development and adoption.
• Partner with analytics teams to optimize platform usage and measure adoption effectiveness.

Integration and Data Flow

• Ensure seamless data integration across applications, platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Oversee API and middleware support for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
• Maintain data availability, integrity, and reliable flow across the data and AI landscape.

Reporting and Improvement

• Report roadmap execution, risks, and modernization priorities to the Enterprise Platform, Apps & Analytics Manager.
• Maintain documentation for platform configurations, integrations, and operations to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Capture lessons learned, embed automation, and continuously improve platform maturity, systems, and processes.

Policies and People Management

• Monitor day-to-day activities for compliance with policies and procedures and identify opportunities for cost and productivity improvement.
• Train, mentor, and coach subordinates; provide direction, prioritize tasks, delegate responsibility, and monitor workflow.
• Promote a high-performance working environment aligned with company values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least six years of experience in a related field or equivalent is required.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required.
• DAMA CDMP, TOGAF, Agile, cloud, or platform certifications are preferred.
• The role requires enterprise data, AI, analytics, reporting, integration, platform operations, and team workflow management capability.
