About the Role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist with a strong cybersecurity foundation to design and implement security controls. The role requires experience in network security, application security, and incident response.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls
- Configure and monitor firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architectures
- Perform secure coding practices, code reviews, vulnerability scanning, and protection of web and mobile applications
- Use security monitoring and incident response tools (SIEM, EDR, log management) for threat detection and remediation
Requirements
- Strong cybersecurity foundation, including experience in Cybersecurity and Cyber risk assessment, with the ability to design and implement security controls
- NCA knowledge
- Proficiency in Network Security, including configuring and monitoring firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architectures
- Experience in Application Security, including secure coding practices, code reviews, vulnerability scanning, and protection of web and mobile applications
- Knowledge of Information Security principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), including policy development and governance
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response tools (SIEM, EDR, log management) and practical skills in threat detection and remediation
- Relevant certification is preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, Security+ or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams, communicate complex security concepts clearly, and support secure digital transformation initiatives
