Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support for Automation and OSI PI software, including troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution.
  • Assist customers in optimizing the performance and functionality of OSI PI solutions within their automation environments.
  • Lead and mentor junior support engineers, providing guidance on complex technical issues and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to customers and internal teams on OSI PI software and automation systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles, technical guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Monitor and manage support cases to ensure SLAs are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of software updates, patches, and configurations.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams on recurring issues and feature Requests

Qualifications

  • B.S. Computer Engineering, or any related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Engineer or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in OSI PI, AVEVA System platform, InTouch, Historian, and database applications.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, and scripting is beneficial.
  • Must have worked in a large-scale System Platform implementation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients effectively.
